A stunning English creamware tureen from the 18th century, possibly Wedgwood or Leedsware, decorated in scenes of a shepherd and his flock and onlookers dining, along with various bouquets of flowers and foliage. Its most impressive details lie in its handles, with one on its lid depicting a pomegranate, and two on its base of twisted branches forming out of floral vines. On both its base and lid, an inscription reads Hristen Hansen Anno 1781. Natural wear due to age, suitable for use with care. Size 39cm long.
