A pair of unusual and rare French faience serving dishes manufactured by Sèvres. These early 19th-century round platters are decorated with a series of musical instruments and bird baths around the edge and bordered in black paint. The back shows a hollow signature "Sèvres" and a stamp used from 1808 to 1815 for the Clavareau period. A beautiful pair highly sought for collecting. Size 37cm diameter. Natural wear due to age.
